Starting with a love for hospitality, people, adventures, and creating experiences, we seized an opportunity to combine them all through vacation rental management. Based on the north west coast, Wanderers Choice was founded through the desire to share this special place with others.
Our goal, through Wanderers Choice, is to help facilitate an unforgettable trip and to keep travelers coming back for more. All while creating income producing properties for homeowners, supporting the local businesses and integrity of the beautiful Olympic Peninsula we call home.
If you are looking for a place to take a break from school and work, this is the place! We had everything we need in the lodge, and the lodge has enough space for 5 people to live in! Indeed the yard is really big, and we really enjoyed the views of the snow and trees! It's also close to the hurricane ridge ski resort if you are a ski lover! Such a fun place to stay and will definitely come back!

I absolutely loved staying in the Strait Blue Cottage! It was the perfect location for my partner and me as we rang in the new year and explored Port Angeles, the snowy beaches in La Push, and the Hoh Rainforest. The house and amenities were as pictured - including the s’mores! We appreciated having access to a washing machine and dryer. We also enjoyed cooking meals in the fully-equipped kitchen and sitting at the dining table to enjoy a mountain view while we ate. (And if you’re looking to go into town, there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and stores nearby.) Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing trip and can’t wait to come back!

Cute spot. Lots of sweet touches. It’s kinda like really high-end glamping. Perfect for a crunchy nature girl and her Swiss, modern-amenities, problem-solving bf. ;) Our water froze but nothing the hairdryer couldn’t solve and we had fun melting snow for a bit! A snowy walk finding a creek down the road was enchanting. Great experience. <3 Would stay again.
